What is Hypnotherapy?
​

Hypnotherapy is a guided therapeutic practice that uses hypnosis—a state of focused relaxation—to access your subconscious mind. The subconscious is the part of the mind that we’re not consciously aware of. It holds all of our memories, beliefs, values, habits, and our thought and behavioural patterns. When we think about making changes in our life, the subconscious is where real change happens, because that is where our thoughts and behaviours stem from.

 

During hypnosis, your conscious mind quiets down, allowing you to connect with deeper thoughts, patterns, and memories. This makes it easier to overcome mental, emotional, or behavioural challenges, as we’re able to work directly with your subconscious beliefs. With hypnotherapy, we have the incredible opportunity to release beliefs that no longer benefit you, and take on new beliefs that will support your most abundant, joyful, fulfilled life.

How Does It Work?
​

During a hypnotherapy session, I guide you with my voice into a calm, meditative state, often referred to as a trance. If you’ve ever done a guided meditation, you’ll know how this feels. You remain fully aware and in control, yet deeply relaxed. In this heightened state of awareness, your subconscious mind is more receptive to suggestions that align with your goals, whether that’s breaking unwanted habits, managing stress, or healing past traumas.

My sessions are a combination of energy and sound healing with hypnotherapy, something I've discovered is extremely effective.

What to Expect in a Session
​

A typical healing session lasts between 90 to 120 minutes. In a calm, supportive environment, we begin with a conversation about your goals and concerns. I then guide you into a state of deep relaxation using gentle visualization and suggestions. The session will be tailored specifically to your needs, helping you make the shifts you seek at your own pace.

Is Hypnotherapy Safe?
​

Yes, hypnotherapy is completely safe. You are always in control and can choose to end the session at any time. It’s a natural, non-invasive process that works with your body’s own relaxation response. Most clients describe the experience as deeply calming and empowering. Being in the hypnotic or trance state is deeply rejuvenating, as your body enters a state similar to sleep. Just 30 minutes in this relaxed state can have you feeling like you've had a 1-2 hour nap.
